The regular season of the NHL has come to an end, and the 16 teams that have qualified for the playoffs are now concentrating on their first-round matches. Meanwhile, the other 16 teams that failed to make it to the playoffs are shifting their focus to next season and the NHL Draft, with particular emphasis on the bottom 10 teams. On Thursday night, however, the Anaheim Ducks received some positive news, as it was officially announced that they have the highest odds of drafting the teenage hockey sensation, Connor Bedard.
Bedard is regarded as the most promising talent since the Edmonton Oilers drafted Connor McDavid. While this does not guarantee that the Anaheim Ducks will win the draft lottery, having the best odds certainly puts them in a favorable position.
