McDavid's exceptional season also includes breaking Wayne Gretzky's record of four 10-game points streaks in a season, achieving five streaks himself. Moreover, McDavid has joined the elite company of Mario Lemieux, Peter Stastny, and Bryan Trottier as the fifth player in NHL history to reach 300 goals and 500 assists before playing 600 games.

With McDavid's leadership, the Edmonton Oilers have transformed into legitimate Stanley Cup contenders.
