It has been revealed that the reason for Edmonton Oilers' Evander Kane's absence from the ice was due to multiple broken ribs sustained in his altercation with Ottawa Senators' Brady Tkachuk on February 11th. The injury caused Kane to miss several games and a month of ice time. Since returning to the ice, Kane has struggled, potentially due to his ongoing injury, is he fully recovered? Many think not..

However, with the truth now known, Kane and the Oilers can focus on moving forward and finishing the rest of the season, despite the setback caused by Kane's injury.
