Former Oilers forward Jesse Puljujarvi's career has been a topic of discussion among NHL pundits and fans, with many believing that he needed a change of scenery to get back on track. However, since joining the Carolina Hurricanes a few weeks ago, he has been struggling to find his footing, with no goals, two assists, and a minus-three rating in 14 games.

These lackluster numbers are hardly impressive for a player who was expected to help his new team break through the postseason hump. Puljujarvi's contract is set to expire at the end of this season, with a $3 million cap hit. As a result, it seems unlikely that he will be re-signed by any team.

As the season draws to a close, Puljujarvi may find himself spending more time in the press box than on the ice, with no results to show for his efforts. In the meantime, the Oilers will face off against the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday, April 11th, while Puljujarvi's future remains uncertain.
