Corey Perry gets down on WWE Smackdown

Fans attending WWE's smackdown on Friday got their money's worth as Corey Perry got involved in the action.

According to Daily Hive's Preston Hodgkinson, the 39-year-old Perry made a surprise appearance at the most recent WWE Friday Night Smackdown event hosted at Rogers Place. He had front-row seats and was sitting with his son Griffen.

As the show went on, wrestlers Grayson Waller and Austin Theory came into the ring sporting a Florida Panthers Matthew Tkachuk jersey, much to the chagrin of the Edmonton crowd.

It looks like Corey Perry will be heading into the 2024-25 with some extra grit this year. Corey Perry AKA "The Worm" will be looking to take his new found wrestling moves to the ice as the Oilers will need to up their physicality this season.
