Katie Gaudreau makes alteration to her wedding ring to honour her brothers

Katie Gaudreau just made a beautiful announcement via instagram to honour the passing of her brother Johnny and Matthew.

Johnny and his brother Matthew were struck by a vehicle near their home in Salem County, New Jersey, on Thursday night, on Thursday night. Unfortunately, both Johnny and Matthew passed away as a result of the accident.

This tragedy ultimately lead to Katie Gaudreau's wedding being postponed in order to take time to mourn and heal. To make matters even harder, Matthew and Johnny were both set to be groomsmen for the ceremony. Despite the heartbreak, Katie Gaudreau continues to find beautiful ways to pay respect to her brothers.

Katie Gaudreau made alterations to her wedding ring, carving the initails J&M on the base of the band. On her instagram story the caption is "forever with me now"

What a great tribute by Katie Gaudreau. She may have lost her two best friends, but she will forever have Johnny and Matthew in her heart, and her wedding ring.
