The former Edmonton Oilers studs Philip Broberg and Dylan Holloway were recently sent packing to St. Louis as both players signed offer sheets, parting ways with the Oilers. Although their services will be missed in Oil Country, acquiring both players came with a hefty price tag.
According to Oilers Nation, the two elite superstars Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl were hanging out with St. Louis Blues stud Robert Thomas when the news broke out. Here's what Thomas had to say about the situation:
Who knew the Oilers superstars were so close with Robert Thomas? Despite this being a super awkward interaction for all three guys, its safe to say the matchups this season against the St. Louis Blues just got a whole lot more interesting.
