Robertson has found himself to be quite disgruntled during the offseason as negations with Brad Treliving proved to be somewhat difficult. According to Liam McCormick from Oilers Daily, he has requested a trade from the organization due to unhappiness on how he's been treated. General manager Brad Treliving has reached out to numerous NHL general managers to seek out a trade which could not come together due to the lack of interest.
The 23-year-old forward was drafted by the Leafs in 2019, second round 53rd overall pick. Regardless of his current play, he's a a high draft pick and a top prospect currently signed for a one year $875,000 contract.
Yaremchuk believes he would be a great replacement for Dylan Holloway who was recently lost to the Blue via offer sheet.
