O'Reilly, 18, was the 32nd overall pick for the Edmonton Oilers during the NHL entry draft in Las Vegas. It's looking like the Oilers have selected a true stud as O'Reilly has been tearing it up during the preseason for the Knights.
As per Brent Lale from CTV News, The London Knights forward had a goal and three assists, following up a two assist performance Friday as the Knights stayed perfect in the preseason. The Knights had a 5-4 shootout win against the Erie Otters in a neutral site game in St. Thomas, Ont.
O'Reilly also scored the opening goal of the shootout, before new import player, Jesse Nurmi, finished the game in the breakaway contest.
The London Knights remain perfect through the OHL preseason, winning every single one of their match ups so far.
O'Reilly will be looking to keep his momentum going for the Knights season opener. The Knights will defend their 2023 OHL title at Budweiser Gardens with a banner raising night against the Flint Firebirds on September 27th at 7:00pm.
