Waiver wire: 27 NHL players have been put on waivers

According to Blade of Steele, NHL teams have put over 27 players on waivers.

It's that crazy time of the year again - training camp is almost done and fans look ahead to the highly anticipated regular season. With that being said, it's decision time for coaches around the league, and many players have already been cut or snet back down to their respective farm system.

As per Blade of Steel, in one exactly week, teams around the National Hockey League will need to submit their respective rosters for opening night and in order to assign some of those players to the minors, they need to go through waivers.

According to PuckPedia on Tuesday afternoon, a total of 27 players were placed on the waiver wire for the purpose of being assigned to the American Hockey League in time for their training camps, which get underway early this week.
