Suffering from a bad back can be one of the most debilitating injuries anyone can experience. The pain can come suddenly and without warning, particularly if a person tweaks or twists their back the wrong way. Once the pain hits, there's little that can be done aside from rest and giving the muscles a break.

This issue affects professional sports as well, including hockey, where a bad back can end a player's career. Mark Spector, a reporter for the Oilers, has reported that the Oilers are targeting Mark Stone's lower back. Stone has been struggling with a debilitating back injury for several years now and is currently experiencing discomfort.

To remind Stone of his beleaguered injury, Oilers players are taking small jabs and cross-checks at him. This report was discussed during the intermission of Sportsnet, where the panel debated whether it was appropriate to publish a video about Stone's health issues.

Regardless of whether it was right or wrong, this is the playoffs. Teams try to gain the upper hand over their opponents, especially if their star players are suffering from injuries like this. It's likely that this will continue, and we'll have to see how Mark Stone handles the pain.
