The Seattle Kraken's journey in the NHL has been nothing short of fascinating in the past two seasons since their adoption. Despite facing skepticism from fans and pundits across the league, President and General Manager Ron Francis built a roster that drew criticism. Many believed it would take the team several years to become playoff contenders, especially after witnessing the remarkable inaugural season success of their predecessor, the Vegas Golden Knights.

However, the script has taken a surprising turn for the Kraken, who find themselves in the second round of the playoffs in only their second year of existence. Among the players making a significant impact is former Oilers forward Jordan Eberle.

Eberle has been instrumental in the Kraken's playoff run, delivering timely goals that have propelled the team forward. His experience from seven seasons with the Oilers, where he was part of the pre-McDavid core, and subsequent tenure with the Islanders has proven invaluable.

Selected by the Seattle Kraken in the expansion draft, Eberle has provided them with two consecutive 20-plus goal seasons, solidifying his role as a key member of the lineup. As they face off against the Dallas Stars, the series is evenly tied at one game apiece, and Eberle's contributions will be crucial to the Kraken's continued success.
