NHL Player Safety Set to Hand Out The First Playoff Suspension

Toronto Maple Leafs' Michael Bunting is set to face a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety following a dangerous hit on Erik Cernak of the Tampa Bay Lightning during Tuesday's Game 1 of their series. The hit occurred with the Lightning leading 7-3 when Bunting hit Cernak in the head. Bunting was ejected from the game with a five-minute major penalty for checking to the head.
