Starting Goalie and Big Lineup Changes Announced By Jay Woodcroft For Tonights Game
The Edmonton Oilers are back in their home turf after an overtime win against the LA Kings on Sunday night. With the series tied at 2-2, the Oilers are only two wins away from taking home the championship.
The team faces the Kings again tonight in Edmonton before heading back to Los Angeles for game 6. A win tonight is crucial for the Oilers and coach Jay Woodcroft has made some bold changes to the lineup.Woodcroft has given Dylan Holloway, who was recently called up, a huge promotion to the Oilers top line alongside McDavid and Draisaitl. Nick Bjugstad, the 6'7" centerman, has also been given a promotion to the second line, centering Zach Hyman and Ryan-Nugent Hopkins.
Despite rumors that Jack Campbell would replace Stuart Skinner in goal after a tough game 4, Woodcroft is confident in Skinner and has chosen him to start in tonight's game.
