When your favourite team is down and out during a game, you have paid for expensive tickets and high-priced beer and food most of the time you would stick around to see the end of the game or hope that your team would have an unforgettable comeback.

That wasn't the case tonight when the Edmonton Oilers defeated the Vegas Golden Knights 5-1 during Game 2. Golden Knights fans had seen enough of their teams' poor effort and felt it was better to go back to The Strip or do something else with their time with over 10 minutes left in the third.

It's not normal for Canadian NHL fans as most would stay till the end of the game no matter what the score is. Sometimes there are exceptions to the rule, whether it's poor weather conditions or a Monday or Tuesday night game in which they have to work the next day.

Golden Knights fans hope for a better effort in game three as the series switches to Edmonton. The series remains deadlocked at 1-1.
