Edmonton Oilers' Zach Hyman has had an impressive season with the team since signing a 7-year contract extension worth $5.7 million per season. He has scored 36 goals with 47 assists and 83 points in 78 games of the 2022-2023 season with a +13, 15 power-play goals, and 26 power-play points.
Aside from his on-ice performance, Hyman is also an accomplished children's book author with four books to his name. His latest book, "The Magicians Secret," was published in 2018. During a recent interview, he expressed his interest in writing about teammate Leon Draisaitl, one of the best NHL players today.
As the Oilers head towards the end of the season, they have secured their playoff spot and are preparing for a long playoff run. Their final game of the season is against the San Jose Sharks at home on April 13th, with a game time of 9:00 PM Eastern.
