The Edmonton Oilers are gearing up to face the Los Angeles Kings in yet another exciting game, with hopes of winning the coveted Lord Stanley's Cup. This year, the Oilers have something special in store for their fans, including those who cannot attend the playoff games in person.

The Oilers have announced that they will host two outdoor watch parties for their fans at the Ice District during each home game of the playoffs. While Scotiabank Playoff Plaza will continue to host fans on home game days, the Oilers Entertainment Group (OEG) has introduced the Ford Tailgate Party in the Ice District Fan Park, following the space reaching capacity multiple times during the 2021-22 playoffs.

Apart from exciting game action, there will be plenty of food and drink vendors, as well as post-game entertainment, music, and giveaways, including surprise appearances by Oilers Alumni. While other teams like the Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs have done similar events, the Oilers decided to go bigger this year following the turnout during their playoff games last season.
