The Edmonton Oilers have received some exciting news, as forward Mattias Janmark is reportedly set to return to the lineup, but only if the team manages to advance to the second round of the playoffs. Janmark has been out of action since Game 3 of the first-round series against the LA Kings, but was spotted skating today and has his sights set on returning to the ice if the Oilers make it through.

Janmark was acquired by the Oilers to provide additional depth and scoring power to the team's forward group. Despite his short time with the team, he has quickly become an important part of the puzzle, contributing on the penalty kill as well as on the score sheet.

If Janmark is able to return, the Oilers would undoubtedly benefit from his speed, skill, and two-way ability. He could prove to be a valuable asset, helping to relieve some of the pressure on the team's star players and contributing to a potential deep playoff run.

While there's no guarantee that the Oilers will make it past the Kings, the news of Janmark's potential return is certainly a positive development for the team and its supporters. If he does indeed make his way back into the lineup, he could be a key factor in the Oilers' success in the upcoming games.
