REPORT - Edmonton Oilers Announce Two Roster Moves: A New Goaltender?

With the playoffs in full swing and the Oilers down two games to 1 to the Los Angeles Kings, it appears that the Oilers are prepared to make a roster change. Their AHL affiliate Bakersfield Condors were eliminated from their playoff run last night against the Abbotsford Canucks which means the Oilers would be likely to activate forward Dylan Holloway to their lineup.

Holloway played 51 games for the Oilers this season and scored three goals, with six assists for nine points. He had 27 penalty minutes and one game-winning goal. Holloway also had some injury trouble this year which restricted his play when he was slated to become a Calder candidate for Rookie of the Year.

With the injury to Mattias Janmark, Holloway will likely enter the series and try to make some noise in these playoffs. At the moment goal scoring is becoming a problem for the Oilers, especially on the secondary side.
